Kelsey Thompson (Associate Director, CPDC, IUP) became Mrs. Pilotta when she married Dr. Marco Pilotta on November 20, 2024. They had a fairytale wedding at Heinz Chapel and a dream celebratory reception at PPG Winter Garden, followed by an enjoyable and relaxing honeymoon in St. Lucia!

![PennACE member and 2024 PennACE Excellence Award winner, Paul Miller, earned his Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at Indiana University of Pennsylvania this past semester. He completed the Communications Media and Instructional Technology Ph.D. program in December. Miller’s dissertation is entitled “Cinematic Celebrations.” His research focused on how families use Christmas movies as part of their annual traditions around the holiday season.
