Updates from IUP
IUP continues its season of change and our Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) is experiencing more of this change. In that regard, we wanted to share some updates regarding shifts on our team:
Tammy Mason who had joined our team on a part-time basis to provide administrative support and office management has been shifted out of the CPDC to do work for other areas withing Academic Student Success. We're thankful for Tammy and we will miss her, though, fortunately, we'll still get to see her around Stabley Library!
As of 20 May, Jeremy Risinger is an official full-time member of our team working in a variety of capacities, including some employer engagement work, event coordination, and student affinity groups programming. We're thrilled to have Jeremy with us on a full-time basis!
Celia Barber joined our team as of 20 May on a part-time basis to provide administrative support and office oversight assistance. She comes to us from IUP's Eberly College of Business where she worked in the Dean's office. She will also provide administrative support to a variety of units within Academic Student Success. We're happy to have Celia joining us!
Our graduate team members for the next academic year include Anna Early, Emily Atkins, Julie Edmiston, Paige Klinger, and Brandon Kephart. The first three already have a year in with us and Paige joins us this summer while Brandon will join us on a part-time basis in the fall.
Additionally, Dr. Tammy Manko presented at the Next Generation Youth Workforce Summit in Pittsburgh on the topic of nonverbal communication.
We wish you a blessed, enjoyable, restorative summer!
