Success! Summer Virtual Employer Visits


The Professional Development Team offered Virtual Employer Visits for summer 2021 as an opportunity for our career center staff members to connect with employers and learn about job and internship options, new recruiting initiatives, and potential partnerships. Because of COVID, we took full advantage of virtual visits so our PennACE members could explore organizations they might not be familiar with and bring that information to their campus


Seven employers joined us through virtual tours, presentations, panel discussions and Q&A. PennACE members represented 10 different college and university campuses.

We learned that:

  • WebFX is housed in a former mansion in Harrisburg

  • Primepay operates in all 50 states across the US

  • East Penn Manufacturing produces over 800,000 batteries per week

  • Clark Associates is a technology company that serves the food industry

  • Vanguard is may start accepting resumes on Tik Tok

  • PPL delivers energy to 10 million customers in the US and UK
