Retirements & Staff Updates
On June 25, 2021, our colleague Larry Brugh retired from Penn Highlands Community College where he served as the Dean of Career Services and Workforce Development. Prior to his service at Penn Highlands Community College, Larry served as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Mount Aloysius College. We wish Larry our congratulations and the best of luck in his retirement!
Christina Moreschi returned to Edinboro University’s Center for Career Development and Experiential Learning to serve as the Career Development Manager after previously serving for two years as the Assistant Director.
Mount Aloysius College added Sarah Kordish to their team as a Career Development Coordinator.
Andrew Stopko recently joined Saint Francis University (SFU) Career Services as the Assistant Director of Employer Relations & Internships. This is Andrew’s first career development position after serving on the SFU Admissions team since 2016.
IUP CPDC Team Updates

Jan Shellenbarger retired from IUP June 18, 2021 after 25+ years of service! We'll miss Jan and her great sense of humor, resourcefulness, talent, and strong work ethic! We wish her all good things in her retirement!
Mike Husenits left IUP to begin a position as Director of Admissions for University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg. We appreciated the opportunity to work with Mike and wish him well!
Angela Martinelli left IUP as a result of the union bumping process. She is a wonderful, capable, smart individual with a solid work ethic, and we miss her and wish her great success!
Kevin Fleck also left CPDC as a result of the union bumping process. We already miss him, but recently learned he's returned to IUP on a temporary basis as part of the Office of Alumni and Friends!
Bill Zimmerman joined our team replacing Kevin Fleck as Assistant Director for Employer Engagement. He comes to us from IUP Housing, Residential Living, and Dining. He's also doing well as a new team member!
Audrey Patterson and Sheila Gardner have joined our team in administrative support roles. They are learning about CPDC quickly and are already valued members of our team! Audrey comes to us from the IUP US Post Office and Sheila from the Department of Psychology.
